African Books

http://globuntubooks.com/

Globuntu books gives people who have stories to tell a place to tell it how they want to.

"We write what we want to read." According to Beatrice Achaleke, the owner and CEO of Globuntu Books, "Ubuntu" is an African concept "I am because you are."

Taken globally, the goal is to empower and inspire persons of African descent to add their voices to their own stories and change the world. African wisdom says,

"The only way to fight an alien and oppressive culture is to embrace your own".

Wah Dih Story Seh book series is the diaspora arm of Globuntu. Our storytellers teach and learn histories and practices of Africans and their descendants on and off the continent of Africa.

"To add to our illustrious line of sons and daughter who give of their best so we may shine ...(Buxton Battle Song)
